ELJA Foundation Conference & Award | Future Ryders

On Tuesday 25 November 2025, the second edition of the ELJA Foundation Conference & Award will take place at DeLaMar in Amsterdam. During this conference, we will reflect on the power of creativity as a driving force for change. How can we inspire and empower younger generations to shape a better future together? And what role do art, culture and innovation play in this?

Our speakers are changemakers and leading professionals from the cultural sector, the public sector and the business community. They bring inspiring stories, fresh perspectives and valuable insights that encourage action and collaboration.

PROGRAMME CONTENT

Three speakers from different generations, Darryl Amankwah, Ramsey Nasr and Nelleke Noordervliet, will reflect on the opportunities and challenges they see in today’s society, and on the importance of creativity for the future of younger generations.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Humberto Tan. Lisanne Buik, Levi van Dam, Brankele Frank, Sofyan Mbarki, Patritia Pahladsingh and Stijn Schoonderwoerd will discuss how we can work together – across different sectors such as culture, technology, education and business – to build a society full of opportunities, perspective and mutual connection.

ELJA FOUNDATION AWARD 2025

The afternoon will conclude with the announcement of the winner of the ELJA Foundation Award 2025. This biennial lifetime achievement award is presented to individuals or organisations that make an exceptional contribution to connecting young generations with one another through art. The nominees are: Fina Ferreira, Kunstbende and Musicians Without Borders. The winner will receive a cash prize of € 75,000, and the other nominees will each receive € 12,500.
